On Friday, security officers detained the reputed Belarusian human rights defender Nasta Loyka, the organisation Human Constanta reports.
“According to our information, our colleague, human rights activist Nasta Loyka, is currently being questioned by Department of Financial Investigations [unit of the State Control Committee]. More likely than not, she has been taken away from her home. The reasons for the interrogation as well as other circumstances are still unknown,” the statement reads.
As reported earlier, the Belarusian Justice Ministry closed down the Human Constanta watchdog on July, 23.
